Ian is passionate about helping brands thrive through strategic digital marketing and SEO. With an extensive background in SEO, technical SEO, and content strategy, he has worked with B2B, B2C, and e-commerce companies—ranging from startups to enterprise organizations—to boost rankings, drive traffic, and increase conversions. Ian’s leadership experience includes managing SEO teams, mentoring junior staff, and implementing best practices that align with business goals and audience needs.
Ian’s professional journey began as an archivist and museum curator, where he discovered his passion for marketing while promoting the museum. This led him to pursue digital marketing full-time, adopting a test-and-learn approach to master SEO. His commitment and curiosity propelled him into an agency role, where he honed his expertise and developed a cross-channel perspective, leveraging the interplay between various marketing strategies to deliver impactful results. In 2021, Ian spoke at Digital Summit Philadelphia on the topic of Programmatic SEO and continues to enjoy sharing his knowledge with trade associations, Chambers of Commerce, and conference audiences.
Outside of work, Ian is an adventurer at heart. He is an aspiring Adirondack 46er who enjoys cycling, hiking, and fishing. A craft beer and spirits aficionado, Ian loves exploring local breweries and distilleries. He is also deeply involved in his community, volunteering with a local scout troop and contributing to initiatives that make a difference.
