Client story:
A lot of the stories you’ll hear from folks are usually success stories. Here at Seer, we believe deeply in transparency and Kaizen – the idea of continuous improvement. With that in mind, Nick managed campaigns for one of our oldest clients at Seer and ran into an issue where we mismanaged their budget. This led to potential issues around future budget allocations for the remainder of the year. Rather than trying to sweep it under the rug or make excuses which (we never do), we owned up to the mistake and detailed out what happened, why it happened, what we did to fix the problem and our plan for making sure it never happens again. Since we have established trust with this client over so many years, this type of conversation is a bit easier to have and reminds Nick what strong partnerships are made of.
A bit about Nick:
In his spare time, Nick works as an instructor for the University of Vermont’s Digital Marketing Professional Certification Course, teaching a weekly session on paid search fundamentals. Last but not least, he also helped the Philadelphia Eagles win a Super Bowl… as the water boy!
