This is a post from our “Inside SEER” series where we’ll be sharing with you, almost verbatim, what we share with each other at SEER. We have an internal resource here at SEER that we almost always defer to whenever someone has a question or needs help on a certain process. Before now, this content was meant for SEER employee eyes only, but what’s the fun in that? The purpose of our blog is to share our knowledge with the community, which is why we decided to publish this series. In future posts, we’ll be exploring a variety of topics from keyword research, to all-things link building, technical SEO, and more … so stay tuned!
If you’re anything like me, you have grand visions of being a prolific, widely-known blogger with a fabulous life and unlimited time for crafting and baking and taking beautiful photography.
Maybe you’re a budding baker who wants to share cake decorating and icing techniques. Maybe you knit booties for your cat(s) and want to share your templates and kitty photos with the world. Maybe you’re travelling the world and want to blog to share and help fund your adventures.
But no matter what you want to write about, there’s going to come the moment when you actually have to sit down at the keyboard and get to work. And that’s when panic strikes. What should I write about? Does anyone care? Is there anything that hasn’t been written about before?

While some of the ideas you’ll be presented with may be totally off the wall and wildly inappropriate for your niche blog, they will get you thinking about different topics and angles to help you strike inspirational gold.
