I really, really agree with him on the part where he talks about doing it, failing and not giving up. Almost nobody succeeds on first try even though it sometimes looks like there are stars which earned something without putting effort into it.
The only thing which is problematic for me is the fact, that great content simply costs time/money which we are usually short of. I know what great content looks like but in some months there are just too many customer projects to complete so there’s no time left creating great content. I don’t have a solution for this dilemma.

Amen! Great SEO sermon Rand and as always convicting. The easier softer way is usually so much more attractive to the eye. it truly takes sacrifice committing to trying to create great content and sticking with it. That’s usually what separates mediocrity and greatness is the willingness to sacrifice and persevere through the failures until success is reached.

Great quote from Will Smith by the way. I would like to share a couple of good quotes from two great men.

“Develop success from failures. Discouragement and failure are two of the surest stepping stones to success.” Dale Carnegie

“I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed.” Michael Jordan
