A writer / editor first and an SEO second, Lana is the (not-so-dark) overseer of content execution at Seer, Lana also manages relationships with Seer’s outside team of freelance writers, as well.
The part Lana enjoys most about her work with Seer is the neverending opportunity to learn about new industries. From rolling up her sleeves and getting elbow-deep in the nuances of niche products to interviewing subject matter experts in fields ranging from the medical profession to the construction industry, Lana loves working with Seer teammates and our clients to find out what makes each of them special and helping convey that to their audiences.
She’s also Seer’s resident food-pusher and won’t hesitate to foist (healthy and unhealthy) snacks on you if you’re anywhere near her desk.
Prior to joining Seer in 2012, Lana spent eight years as a marketing / traffic coordinator in the outdoor advertising industry. She then moved on to serve as a marketing coordinator / proposal editor for a public-private partnership firm. In the midst of all this day-jobbing, Lana also juggled a side-hustle as a freelance writer for various websites and online publications.
Lana graduated from Temple University with Honors, earning her B.A. in BTMM (Broadcasting, Telecommunications, & Mass Media), with a focus on journalism and advertising.
When she’s not wordsmithing for Seer, Lana enjoys reading, writing, and being a pop culture junkie who can quote The Golden Girls extensively. In 2013, Lana published her first fiction novel, Bad Taste In Men. In 2016, she became an affiliate member of the Horror Writers Association (HWA) professional organization, with several of her short stories having been published in anthologies. She’s currently working on a second book and continues to ply her coworkers with a steady stream of snacks.
