Larissa joined Seer as SEO Director after building successful SEO and Digital PR teams at advertising agencies in Austin, TX. From Fortune 500’s to well-funded start-ups, Larissa has guided the strategic vision for clients with an emphasis on cross-channel data analysis to better inform marketing decisions (no wonder Seer is her new home!).
She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with an MA in Journalism, focusing on audience research and branding in news. Her entry point into SEO was in the early aughts while working at a national youth leadership nonprofit, looking for ways to increase online fundraising for after-school education programs. Since then, she has enjoyed driving SEO strategy in industries ranging from auto insurance to health and beauty eCommerce. She still maintains a commitment to youth development, acting as a mentor for young women pursuing their goals of becoming future leaders in digital.
When not at Seer, you’ll find her attending film festivals (the weirder, the better), playing pinball (Medieval Madness, specifically), or baking something from vintage Scandinavian cookbooks (she owns a pan just for making Æbleskiver).
