Ally joined Seer after four years of planning paid social strategies for financial services, CPG, retail, and entertainment clients. She managed Fortune 500 clients’ campaigns of up to $5M across platforms and even won Twitter’s Best Use of Creators campaign in 2019 for an initiative she helped develop and implement. Before that, she worked in organic social with a two-year hiatus when she worked at a SaaS startup where she cultivated her client management and content marketing skills. However, all roads led Ally back to social, and she’s definitely where she belongs now, working in paid social at Seer.
Ally’s career in social started when she became one of the first social media student interns at her college, Susquehanna University. She graduated from there with a BA in Communications and a minor in Business – it was the wealth of experience from her internship with the Communications Department that kicked off her career though.
Outside of work, you can find Ally hanging out with her mini Goldendoodle, Milo, decorating her new home, or making stuff for her small Etsy shop, AliShu Designs. She also loves traveling, and London is her favorite place in the world, as she lived there for four months in college.
