    Tim Ferriss has said on numerous occasions he used CTR rates (and other tests, like printing different covers and putting them in bookstores and watched pickup rates) to come up with the title of the Four Hour Workweek. Skip expensive focus groups and put a few bucks into PPC.

    Great post! I don’t know that too many companies look at paid search as an “r&d” mechanism.. but this post certainly proves that paid search can be used for more than what is typically thought of!
