Very basic question. If I update the tracking code to support display advertising, that doesn’t mean visitors will see display advertising on my site, right?

Thank you for this: Note: If code validation does not work, and you are certain that the code has been changed and is correct, try hitting “Skip Validation” to enable these reports.

I’d also recommend using SEERs excellent Screaming Frog post to check your code is on every page http://www.seerinteractive.com/blog/screaming-frog-guide

Glad it could help, sklard! Hopefully saves a lot of time/frustration/confusion.

Hi Melanie! I checked with a PPC colleague and he said: No – display advertising doesn’t suddenly appear on the site. You’d have to be
part of AdSense or some other advertising platform to add the advertising to your site.

    Hope this helps!

Managing your reports is always as important as creating the raw data
that will complete them. You will always
have to work with so many information but you will realize that all the small
efforts will pay greatly in the end.

My site has these reports enabled by default but a friend just reached out to me and said that his site requires the adwords setup. I wonder why some sites are pre-configured to enable this report.
